LIVE VIRTUAL GATHERING • FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16 • 1 PM ET
A gathering of connection, collective energy, and action for the wild.
$25 to join the gathering
20% of every registration will be donated in support of wild horses.
Witnessing what is happening to wild animals can bring up grief, anger, fear, and a deep sense of helplessness. We care, but it isn't always clear what to do with that care.
Wild Energy Gatherings are a place to do something with it.
Each gathering brings us together around a different wild animal or population to deepen our connection, acknowledge what their circumstances bring up in us, offer intentional energetic support, and turn that connection into tangible action.
CONNECT
Come together around a different wild animal or population and deepen our connection with the beings we’re gathering to support.
ACKNOWLEDGE
Make space for what their circumstances bring up in us without sending our fear, grief, anger, or helplessness back toward them.
OFFER
Join in a collective energetic offering of love, strength, support, and whatever they are open to receiving.
ACT
Leave with tangible ways to help, from advocacy and education to sharing resources, volunteering, or financial support.
Wild horses are where Wild Energy Gatherings began. After witnessing what they are facing and feeling overwhelmed by the fear, grief, and anger it brought up in me, I connected with them and asked, How can I help differently?
This gathering grew from that question.
During our hour together, we’ll:
Learn enough about what wild horses are facing to understand why we're gathering
Connect with them and offer collective energetic support
Explore tangible ways to continue supporting them afterward

Hi, I’m Melissa Sherman, an animal communicator, intuitive energy practitioner, and founder of Calming Creek.
Much of my practice involves witnessing difficult things animals are experiencing while staying grounded enough to hold space for them without adding my own emotions to what they are already carrying.
But after repeatedly witnessing what was happening to wild horses and wolves, I realized something had shifted. I was no longer simply witnessing. I was carrying the fear, grief, anger, and helplessness of what I was seeing, and I knew I needed to find a different way to show up.
So I did what I do when I want to understand an animal's perspective. I asked them.
I connected with the wild horses and the wolves and asked how I could help differently. What they guided me toward became Wild Energy Gatherings.
These gatherings are a way for us to stay present with what is happening without looking away, while offering something more than our fear or heartbreak. We can connect, offer intentional energetic support, and allow that connection to move us toward meaningful action.
Yes. Everyone who registers will receive access to the recording for one year, whether or not you’re able to join us live. You can return to the recording at any time during that year to reconnect with the wild horses and the energetic offering.
Just an open mind and an open heart. Nothing else is required. If you’d like, bring a journal and something to write with, or a favorite crystal to have with you during the gathering. Clear quartz is a wonderful choice if you’d like something simple to help amplify your intention.
Twenty percent of every registration for this gathering will be donated to Wild Horse Education in support of wild horses. You’ll also receive resources after the gathering with additional ways to learn, advocate, and help.
Not at all. I’ll guide you through the entire experience, including a group meditative journey to connect with the horses and offer our collective love, intention, and energetic support. You don’t need to know how to communicate with animals, meditate, or practice energy healing. All I ask is that you come with an open mind and an open heart.
Yes. I want these gatherings to be accessible, so if the $25 registration fee is outside your budget, please reach out to me about a sliding-scale option.
