LIVE ONLINE WORKSHOP • SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 • 12 PM ET
Learn a simple, practical technique to help your dog move through fear, stress, and overwhelm.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a nervous system regulation tool that helps the body process and release stress, emotional overwhelm, and stored trauma.
For some dogs, that might show up as fear of thunderstorms, fireworks, strangers, car rides, veterinary visits, or being left alone. For others, it may be the lingering effects of a difficult start in life, a traumatic event, or a nervous system that simply stays on high alert long after the stressor has passed.
By helping the body process and release that stress, EFT can create more space for calm, resilience, and different responses to life's challenges.
In this live session, I'll teach you the basics, walk you through how I use EFT with dogs, and guide you through tapping for yourself and your dog so you can experience the process firsthand. You're welcome to have your dog with you during the session.
You'll leave with a practical tool you can begin using right away.
What EFT is, how it works, and why it can be so helpful for sensitive, anxious, and trauma affected dogs
How to use EFT before, during, and after stressful events to help your dog process and recover more easily
Guided tapping for both you and your dog, so you can experience the process and begin using EFT on your own

Hi, I'm Melissa Sherman, founder of Calming Creek.
One thing I've seen over and over in my work is that some dogs feel the world a little more deeply. Fireworks, storms, major life changes, and even shifts within the household can have a bigger impact than many people realize.
As an animal communicator, certified EFT practitioner, and intuitive energy practitioner, I help guardians better understand what may be contributing to behavior changes, stress, and imbalance while deepening their connection with the animals they love.
I created this workshop to introduce one of my favorite tools for supporting sensitive dogs and the people who love them. EFT can be a gentle way to work with stress, fear, anxiety, and the lingering effects of difficult experiences.
My goal is to give you a practical tool you can begin using right away to help your dog feel more supported through life's challenges.
Yes, everyone who registers will receive access to the recording, whether or not you can make it live.
None at all. This session is designed for people who are completely new to EFT, as well as those who've heard of it but never applied it with their animals. We start from the beginning.
If your dog experiences anxiety, fear, reactivity, or stress from fireworks, storms, visitors, travel, or any kind of change, this session is for you.
No, but they're welcome to join you if they'd like. You'll learn ways to use EFT with your dog even when you're not tapping on them directly.
